This was a session I did at the end of the year in 2014. His name is Camden and his mom and dad were Lindsay and Jason. They were such a cute little family. I took photos of Lindsay when she was pregnant in Ocean City at the inlet. It was so funny we were like 1 of 5 people on the beach and everyone moved over so see her during her session. She looked like a model so it’s no wonder everyone wanted to watch. We did a few on the jetty and most of them at sunset. When I finally got to meet baby Camden he was super cute but not to interested in a photo shoot. :) It took a long time to get pictures for the parents but I will go as long as I need to to get the best pictures possible. He was not sleepy and colicky but I was determined to get beautiful photos for this family and I think I accomplished that for them. They ended up with a 30×40 canvas of their family for their house. He was my longest session to date but well worth the time at the end. I even have a huge canvas of them in my studio.
Not all babies breeze through a session but that is one of the reasons that I love my job so much. I never know the personality of the baby or whether or not I will be there for 2 hours which is typical or 4 hours. Either way I will always get the family something they will love and cherish as their child grows up. Looking back after a session at the photos for me makes it all worth it!
