I have been working on my photoshop skills this week and I thought it would be fun to do some photos with my pets. It morphed into a fine art/animal portrait that was just a lot of fun. The first photo is my dog Tinkerbell. She is a 2 year old yorkie and she loves chasing birds in the yard so I found a photo from circa 1800 by a british painter called “A Girl With A Basket Of Birds”. Perfect right! The second photo is my cousins dog Louie so he had to be combined with a photo of King Louis XV. It was painted by Maurice Quentin de La Tour in 1748. I did another one with my cat Izzy on a painting called “Portrait of a Woman” painted in 1640 by Anthony van Dyck. It was fun to just play around with something different that was silly and light hearted this week. Glad I could take a mental break from everything. Find something you like to do and carve out some time to do it. It will do wonders for your mental state. 🙂
