There is nothing more incredible than seeing the birth of a baby! I have never seen anything like this birth. I was called to come over to her home for a water birth at 1:00 am and I had an hour drive in the horrible rain storm. O MY! I got there and she was in labor but not super uncomfortable yet. I met the Midwives (including the wonderful Krista Brooks) at her home.
Though much labor and water breaking she got in the tub and the baby came at 7:16am. Not one time did she make a peep, it was unbelievable! I stayed to get pictures of little Memphis being weighed and his checkup. Got a few pictures of everyone together after everything was over and I didn’t leave until about 11:00am.
I was so amped up and tired at the same time from the events that had unfolded. I went to bed at 10:00 pm that night. Needless to say I slept in the next morning. I can’t wait until my next birth session. It was awesome!!! PS there is also a short video coming up with more photos later on this week!
