Does everyone remember Amber and Shawn? They came in previously for a maternity session and now I get to play with baby Sebastian. He was such a good boy at his session. He gave us a ton of smiles during his shoot and stayed asleep for the most part which is really important in a newborn photo shoot. When they sleep everything goes so much faster and the babies stay happier, though we did have a few milk breaks but that is to be expected. Whatever makes them happy!
He has five other siblings but we never got an opportunity to get pictures of everyone together. That is a lot of schedules to work out and it’s hard enough getting both parents in the studio at once some times. 🙂 The first month goes by so fast and if you don’t get in to get your photos in the first 12-14 days babies just don’t do as well and they certainty change super fast.
The theme for his room was Dr. Seuss. I love when a family has a theme that they want to follow for the session it helps me build the rest of the time we have around that part. As you can see we made sure to do a picture with Dr. Seuss books which I have a collection of from my own son. The parents ended up buying a large canvas for Sebastian’s room. Now as he grows up he can look up and see what he looked like as a baby. I know my daughter loves looking at her baby photos!
It was such a pleasure meeting such a nice couple and I hope to take more photos of their family in the future!
