This is Baby Kyra. I took pictures of both of her big brothers a few years ago when they were born and this the first girl in the family. Her brothers were adorable but there is something about a little girl. :) I am sure that mom is happy to have a girl this time. I went to grade school with her mom which is to long ago for me to mention. When we were friends in school I never thought I would be taking photos of her three kids.
Kyra maybe pretty in pink but she was also a pistol! I find that little girls always want to see what is going on. I had a horrible time getting her to sleep. She was more interested in my lights than anything I wanted her to do. Most photos are in between blinks and she did sleep for a short time but when I touched her to change backdrops she as wide awake again. We had to stop a lot but that is what it takes for some babies. All babies have such different personalities and she was afraid she was going to miss something!
We also did a few winter baby pictures in my white and silver wreath which she seemed quite happy in even though she was very awake. She looked so cute in there and I was glad to use the knitted sleeper sack and bonnet I had made special for her session.
Glad I got some good pictures of her now because I have a feeling that keeping her still in the future for pictures will not be an easy task. :)
